Alex Ferree quick with Outlaws at Marion Center; Lernerville to activate Memorial Day weekend slate

SAXONBURG, Pa. (May 18, 2026) - The “A-Train” Alex Ferree made the most of his Friday night visit to Marion Center Raceway in Marion Center, Pennsylvania, joining the World of Outlaws Late Models for the 16th Annual Connor Bobik Memorial. When the dust finally settled, Ferree - already a super late model winner in 2026 - found himself within the top-five, climbing ahead four spots from eighth in the second of two $6,000-to-win, 25-lap features.
The Saxonburg native launched his Friday night effort with the eighth-fastest time in his respective group - his eventual feature starting position.
As noted, some of the nation’s finest made the call to Marion Center including Watertown, New York’s Tim McCreadie, a former World of Outlaws as well as Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series national champion who finished just behind Ferree in his rally from 11th.
The split-feature program kicked-off what was intended to be a two-day program at the “Thrill On The Hill,” but Mother Nature had other plans, ultimately forcing a Connor Bobik Memorial finale postponement until Wednesday, May 27.
ON DECK:
The “A-Train” Alex Ferree will continue his 2026 campaign with a visit to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, on Friday, May 22. The remaining weekend dates are still “TBD.”
