REUTZEL’S RICHES: Aaron Reutzel continues winning ways in Ohio; Grandview and Port Royal to continue High Limit campaign
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
KNOXVILLE, Iowa (May 18, 2026) - “A-Aron” Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR) have been borderline unbeatable, most notably in the last few weeks, continuing their winning ways with Ohio triumphs at Fremont Speedway and Attica Raceway Park on Tuesday and Thursday, May 12 & 14, respectively.
The events, $20,000-to-win each, were impressive accomplishments in their own right, first sweeping Fremont’s entire program against the All Star Circuit of Champions, all before a dramatic finish at Attica that saw the Clute, Texas, native take command from Tanner Thorson with four circuits remaining. As an added luxury, Reutzel earned an extra $10,000 for his feats - a bonus promoted by the Ohio tracks leading up to the high profile week.
In addition, Reutzel, the ace of the Power Plus, Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, Rasmusson Service Center, Bargain Barn, No. 87 sprint car, earned top-fives in visits to Eldora Speedway on Friday, May 15, and Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, May 16, concluding competition with fourth and second-place finishes, respectively. Friday’s start at “The Big E” featured the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, and Saturday’s contest at Port Royal featured the Keith Kauffman Classic - an unofficial preamble to Memorial Day weekend’s Bob Weikert Memorial awarding $100,000. Reutzel is the reigning champion of the prestigious event, saluted with the coveted Bob Weikert Bull Trophy.
“It’s been a whirlwind, in a good way, that’s for sure,” Ryan Wyant, RSR Team Manager, noted. “When you’re on, you’re on, and right now things are on. Our confidence is high and our momentum is ever higher. We have a big week on tap with no signs of slowing down. We’re excited to keep this going.”
ON DECK:
Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing will continue their 2026 Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing campaign with a trip to Central Pennsylvania, visiting Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville on Tuesday, May 19, followed by Port Royal Speedway’s $100,000-to-win Bob Weikert Memorial on Friday through Sunday, May 22-24. In addition to Flo, Tuesday’s event will be broadcast live via FS1.
