Whittall works to add Weikert Bull to trophy case

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (May 18, 2026) - Port Royal Speedway’s Bob Weikert Memorial has grown to be one of the nation’s most sought-after open wheel prizes, not only due to its $100,000 payday, but its coveted Bull Trophy, and Justin Whittall, the 2025 Port Royal Speedway track champion, as well as recent World of Outlaws runner-up finisher at Williams Grove, wants one.
Whittall, powered by RBH Group, Turret Engineering, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pandemonium Bar & Grill, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, and Milky Way Restaurant, will enter the three day contest scheduled for Friday through Sunday, May 22-24, with a fair share of momentum, concluding his most recent weekend of competition with a top-ten outcome at BAPS Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 17. The eventual tenth-place result was Whittall’s seventh top-ten of the season, three of those occurring within the top-five.
In addition, the Vincentown, New Jersey, ace finished 11th on back-to-back occasions prior to BAPS, the first at Williams Grove Speedway on May 15 and the second in Port Royal Speedway’s Keith Kauffman Classic on Saturday, May 16.
“We want a Weikert Bull pretty bad,” Whittall was quick to note. “It’s definitely grown to be one of the biggest events in the country and we’re excited to be a part of it. All we can do is take things one lap at a time and work to put ourselves in a great position for Sunday night.”
