Andrews set for Memorial Day Weekend double at Attica and Fremont

SANDUSKY, Ohio (May 19, 2026) - Memorial Day Weekend will be business as usual for Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing (CAR), set to reinvade Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on Friday and Saturday, May 22-23. Andrews, a former two-time Attica Raceway Park track champion, will roll into the holiday weekend with big goals and high expectations, working to achieve the Ohio Truck Sales | Real American Beer team’s first triumph of 2026.
Andrews, the ace of his own Ohio Truck Sales, Real American Beer, Fleet Financial, Cintas, Whiteford Kenworth, Toledo Spring, NAPA Fremont Auto Parts, TruckParts4U.com, No. 15C sprint car, is certainly no stranger to the northwest Ohio staples, visiting Fremont and Attica each in a recent $20,000-to-win pair on May 12 and May 14, respectively. The Sandusky wheelman finished 15th and 14th - the former attributed to the second-fastest qualifying time in Group A, followed by a third-place finish in his respective heat.
“Hats off to Attica and Fremont for putting up that kind of money midweek. We’re lucky to be located in a sprint car hotbed,” Andrews said. “Super proud of our Ohio Truck Sales | Real American Beer team. They guys work hard and I appreciate their dedication. They deserve a win and that’s exactly what we're working for this weekend.”
ON DECK:
Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will continue their 2026 slate with weekend visits to Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on Friday and Saturday, May 22-23. Saturday’s stop will feature the OVSCA Sprint Cars.
