BEST IN SHOW: Aaron Reutzel and RSR tame Texas in Stockyard Stampede finale
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
KNOXVILLE, Iowa (May 4, 2026) - “A-Aron” Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR) were best in show Saturday night at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas, outdueling the best of High Limit Racing in the Stockyard Stampede finale. Reutzel, securing his third triumph of the season, led every circuit of the 30-lap contest, surviving a last-ditch-effort lunge by Clovis, California’s Corey Day. Adding to the weekend stat sheet, it was Reutzel’s first-ever National Touring Series win in his home state of Texas, now with ten-career High Limit Racing victory lane appearances.
It should be noted, Reutzel was a two-time podium finisher on the weekend, opening the Stockyard Stampede with a third-place result on Thursday, April 30; he started fourth.
With all results considered, Reutzel and RSR maintain their status as a heavy favorite in the High Limit Racing national championship, a mere-21 points from the top spot held by Nevada’s own Tanner Thorson.
“Overall, a fantastic weekend for Ridge & Sons Racing…and to do it in Texas is extra special, especially for Aaron,” Ryan Wyant, RSR Team Manager, noted. “Hats off to this entire team. We can’t say it enough, but we’re surrounded by so many great people. It takes a whole army to maintain a team worthy of a championship and I’m confident we’re well within those ranks. Here’s to a great momentum boost heading into Kokomo Speedway.”
