BROWNSBURG, Ind. (May 4, 2026) - Another Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing weekend equaled another string of solid performances for Rico Abreu and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing (TSR), translating a pair of Texas Motor Speedway starts into back-to-back top-tens. In fact, the St. Helena, California, native finished no worse than sixth in the two-race Stockyard Stampede blockbuster, highlighting competition with a runner-up result on Thursday, April 30.
Abreu’s eventual runner-up commenced with a heat race victory, racing on to finish fifth in the evening’s dash.
Thursday’s podium was Rico’s fifth of the 2026 season, and after his sixth-place outcome on Saturday, May 2, TSR accumulated enough points to remain in the fight for a second-consecutive Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing national championship. The team is third in the current title chase, a mere-40 points out of the top spot controlled by Tanner Thorson. Although held to just one victory thus far in 2026, Rico’s High Limit stats include ten top-tens, four of which accomplished within the top-five including the aforementioned victory at Central Arizona Raceway.

Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing will continue their 2026 Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing campaign with a Kokomo (Ind.) Speedway doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, May 8-9. The inaugural Driven2SaveLives Bryan Clauson Hero Classic will feature two, full programs, welcoming High Limit’s “High Rollers” for the first time of 2026 - not due back until September 23.
