Doney-Lawson Racing and Schnee-Lawson Chassis ready for POWRi Missouri double

ODESSA, Mo. (May 12, 2026) - The POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League has a busy weekend on tap, and Odessa, Missouri’s own Doney-Lawson Racing (DLR) and the Schnee-Lawson Chassis House Cars will be in on the action, following the Series in a Missouri doubleheader kicking off Friday at US 36 Raceway in Osborn.
DLR, powered by Kat Excavation, Pella Building Systems-Mini Storage Specialists, Schnee-Lawson Chassis, Motor Haven, Five Star Bodies, Stanton Racing Engines, CALI Floors, Wilwood Disc Brakes, DMI, Schaeffer’s Oil, Outlaw Wings, Schoenfeld Headers, Smith Titanium, and Design Source Flooring, will continue on with a visit to the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks” - Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, on Saturday, May 16. Each of the Show-Me State showstoppers will award $5,000 top prizes, as well as full points toward the POWRi championship.
Xavier Doney, the eldest of the Doney siblings who compete for DLR, will roll into the weekend with a history of POWRi success, not only fishing third in the 2025 season championship, but earning multiple victories, to boot. In fact, Doney achieved his first-ever 410 sprint car main event win at Lucas Oil in 2024, commencing main event competition from the pole position after earning the most preliminary points.
The young man out of Odessa raced the 30-lap distance unscathed, earning $5,000 for his efforts, as well as forever bragging rights as a POWRi winner.
Natalie Doney, Xavier’s younger sister and fellow DLR ace, is also no stranger to POWRi, competing full-time a season ago before finishing 12th in the final championship standings. The young lady earned one top-ten in her season travels - an impressive feat considering her relative inexperience in the 410 sprint division.

Doney-Lawson Racing and the Schnee-Lawson Chassis House Cars will continue their 2026 campaign with a POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League Missouri doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, May 15-16. The Series will visit US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri, and Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, in respective fashion.
