WINNER, WINNER: The “A-Train” on top in Lernerville’s season opener

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

SAXONBURG, Pa. (April 27, 2026) - The “A-Train” Alex Ferree is certainly no stranger to Lernerville Speedway victory lane, and for the first time in 2026 - in his first at-bat - he made his return, bettering a stout field of 31 entries in the speedway’s annual lidlifter on Friday, April 24.

Ferree, ace of the #1 Cochran Expressway, Stans Transmission Service, Jack’s Recycling, Marburger Farm Dairy, Moody Sales, Tri-State Hose & Supply, Glow Racing, Frankland Racing Supply, Hotsy, Woodward’s Inc, No. 1 super late model, started from the front row in Friday’s Fab4 program, racing on to navigate all 25 circuits from the top spot. The Saxonburg ace commenced action with a runner-up result in his respective heat race; he started fourth.

Although Mother Nature did her best to ruin the rest of the weekend, Ferree’s April slate continued by joining the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in a visit to Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland, on Sunday, April 26. Unfortunately for Ferree, the trip was short lived, making the decision to park immediately following a disappointing qualifying effort. Just like Lernerville, 31 entries made the call for Sunday’s Conococheague 40.

ON DECK:
The “A-Train” Alex Ferree will continue his 2026 campaign with a return visit to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, on Friday, May 1. The rest of the weekend has yet to be determined.

2026 STATISTICS:
Wins: 1
Top-Fives: 2
Top-Tens: 2

SPECIAL THANKS:
Alex Ferree would like to thank all of his marketing partners including: #1 Cochran Expressway, Stans Transmission Service, Jack’s Recycling, Marburger Farm Dairy, Moody Sales, Tri-State Hose & Supply, Glow Racing, Frankland Racing Supply, Hotsy, Woodward’s Inc
