Andrews ready to battle Outlaws in Friday’s Attica invasion

SANDUSKY, Ohio (April 27, 2026) - For northwest Ohio sprint car fans, the month of May will commence in a big way. Actually, in the biggest way possible, as the Greatest Show On Dirt is set to invade the home of “Ohio’s Finest Racing” - Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio - on Friday, May 1.
Chris Andrews, a former multi-time Attica Raceway Park track champion, will be in on the action, ready to continue his 2026 campaign by joining the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in their one-night showcase. Dubbed the Kistler Engines Classic, the $12,000-to-win headliner will prove vital for Andrews’ Ohio Truck Sales | Real American Beer team, as the Series will return for the $20,000-to-win Brad Doty Classic in mid-July.
Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will roll into Attica fresh off of a Fremont Speedway start on Saturday, April 25. The Sandusky native finished 11th in the Attica/Fremont Championship Series program - his top result of the season thus far.
“It’s a big week ahead and we’re excited about it,” Andrews was quick to note. “We have a little bit of momentum on our side right now and that’s important. The results don’t paint the whole picture, but things are feeling better and better. It all starts with qualifying on Friday…that will set the tone for the entire evening.”
